The Perfect Cheesecake

In my world of desserts, there is nothing I love more than baking and eating a cheesecake. I love cheesecake in any form and I could eat a scary amount of cheesecake. I have made several different cheesecakes from no-bake to fancy turtle cheesecakes. One of the things I love about it is how many different kinds of cheesecakes you can make. There are firm ones, creamy ones, decorated, chocolate, oreo, pumpkin, animal cookie, smores, peach, lemon, sopapilla, oatmeal cream, mint chocolate, white chocolate, espresso and I could go on and on. Like I said, I will eat any and all of these and love them for their differences. The weather was dreary the other day and I got the itch to bake so I jumped onto Pinterest to look for inspiration and I kept seeing this “perfect cheesecake” pin and I thought, you know, let me just go simple this time and see if this is REALLY the perfect cheesecake. The difference in this one, I think has most to do with the cooking method and time. This recipe does not use the waterbath cooking method. I won’t keep you in suspense any longer. This recipe could very well be the perfect cheesecake if you like a creamy cheesecake. It is not a tight, firm cheesecake but, it is so creamy and full of flavor and so good! I definitely think you should try out this recipe. It would be very easy to add to if you don’t want just a plain cheesecake. You could add chocolate and caramel and pecans to make it a turtle cheesecake, you could add lemon curd and maybe some meringue flowers for lemon, or you could make a chocolate ganache and some fresh berries. Again, I could go on, but, I think you get the picture. Get baking!
