Is there anything better than biting into your favorite pizza? Pizza is one of my favorite things to eat in the world! I like it with a thin crust, lots of toppings and saucy. But not just any sauce either. I like my sauce more on the savory side, with lots of Italian seasonings and a little bit of spice. Most of the time I make my own sauce so it’s just right. When I am really concentrating on eating healthy, I miss pizza. So, I improvise. I buy the healthiest tortilla I can find or just use a regular tortilla if I don’t want to make a trip to the store and have everything else. Add, your sauce, veggies and top with cheese. These don’t take very long to cook. I normally cook at 425 for about 5 minutes then broil for one minute to get that cheese all nice and golden brown. The best thing about pizza is that you can change it up each time or make it the same. I tend to clean out the frig and make my pizza. Sometimes it’s colored peppers, onions, olives, other times, it might be leftover tritip, onions and a little BBQ sauce in the sauce with red onion. It really doesn’t matter as long as you like it and it is so easy to get the kids involved and let them make their own.
