Delicious tri tip dinner and whole 30 approved!

I don’t mind following whole 30, really. If you’re not familiar it is basically a 30 day eating plan of all whole foods-no peanuts, dairy, grains and pasta. Today, however, I have been craving my favorite pizza-kickin chicken pizza from Reeds Spring Pizza Co. The best thing is though, is that we had a tri tip in the refrigerator just waiting for dinner tonight. Tri tip might be my favorite dinner so I couldn’t wait to get started. Brian lit up the grill and at the perfect time, I cooked the sweet potato and green beans. The just over medium rare tri tip just falls into your mouth with the perfect crust on the outside and the sweet potato is the perfect tenderness on the inside, glowing orange with all the vitamins and minerals. The green beans just had the perfect amount of summer snap left after a quick little saute in clarified butter and garlic. The only bad thing about it is you want to eat too much!

If you are following a special eating plan or not, give this healthy meal a try.
